📍 📍 📍 Hi guys. It’s Dr. Barney, here’s the 📍 FRI-YAY tip of the week. This week 📍 we’re talking about lumbar decompression why it’s so important because the lumbar spine is actually the most common area to have a disc, Bulger disc herniation, specifically the lower lumbar L 4, L 5, and S 1.
📍 obviously with the sheer wave, the spine works.
It’s the bottom of the spine, the 📍 most stress is 📍 gonna sit on that. we worry about these
disc bulges. Putting stress on that spinal cord or nerve or that disc herniation where the contents of the disc are actually outside of the disc because the disc is so worn out that it’s gonna put stress on the spinal 📍 cord of the nerve.
like I said, the most common area to happen is that lower lumbar spine. 📍 how can decompression help? Well, really it’s the same as cervical decompression, just just for that lower back. we find a protocol that works for you to safely. Gently and effectively stretch that lumbar spine. obviously that is gonna create that vacuum that we talked about
Stretching out there, sending nutrients and water
to that disc to make sure it’s regenerating, it’s rehydrating, it’s gonna be as full and plump as possible to maintain that disintegrity.
So it’s not gonna wear out faster. really that’s in a nutshell what it is, how lumbar decompression can help with some of those issues. be sure to ask us if you want to know more info about decompression, but that is the Fri-Yay tip of the week.
