it’s Doctor andrew here. I want to take a few minutes just to explain
how chiropractic works. And I really want to start from the beginning, the philosophy of where chiropractic comes from, but it’s going to be a quick video just to explain it to you so you have a better understanding of it.
So in the beginning,
there’s a male seed and a female seed. Those two come together. They form this bioelectric illumination of awesomeness and start to create life. And then over time,
Those cells start to multiply 2 cells to 4 cells, to 8 to 16. And it keeps
growing and growing. And it almost looks like this raspberry type thing.
They actually call it a mulberry mass. And then as that, this, as scientists start to watch it, they start to realize that starts to then become the brain. Now they continue to just keep watching the science over it. And as the embryo keeps developing over and over time,
and once they start to notice that as the brain starts to develop, they also notice that these
This sort of filaments start to happen, they start to cross,
and then they start to keep noticing that they start to just keep developing over time,
crossing over patterns here.
And as they keep doing that,
these filaments, they keep noticing that it keeps slowly developing and then this creates this like central channel here from the brain to the body. And that’s what they eventually start to call the primitive notochord. But this is what eventually becomes the spinal cord.
Now, as this thing keeps developing, like we were just saying,
these filaments keep developing and developing, and as the scientists keep watching,
they start to notice that there get to be these little buds,
we like to start to call them,
these little nerve buds that come out, and they start to form all the different organs.
your heart,
your lungs,
your stomach
all the intestines,
all these different things,
they’re all beginning to form. Now, the part that we notice right away is that we start to see these develop. But then as these develop to the muscles and tissues and organs and stuff, they’re all developing as well, too.
But the interesting part we see is that these organs are so important that they started to get covered in a cage, obviously, but in your rib cage. Now, these are very important as they keep developing and that’s great. And they keep developing more and more. But then once we start to see the development more and once the muscle started to form everything, we started to see that cage form.
But then at the same time,
in that spinal cord along that, brain area, we actually see the brain start to get cased in bone. That’s just showing how important it is. And then as well, as we start to look at the spinal cord,
it starts to have these vertebrae form and it is cased in bone, cased all the way down because it is so important because it has to protect that.
But looking at This is wherein lies the problem. Because now we have this bone that is all around these sensitive nerve areas. We have this hard bone on this very soft tissue nerve that runs everything. Now, what we’ve seen, and the scientists keep watching this develop over time, they’ve even studied it where they had a nerve come out, and they were able 📍 to connect it to one of these filaments, and connect it to an actual lightbulb.
And when that lightbulb connected to the filament,
they were actually able to get it to light up. But they noticed. Over time, they start to put pressure on the nerve. And all it took was the weight of a nickel to actually inhibit that nerve from flowing
and actually shut that light bulb off. The weight of a nickel, that’s all it took for it to not work anymore.
Now, what we look at through all this is these vertebrae start to shift and buckle and lock just from everyday unavoidable stresses. You can do things like slip, fall, big accidents, car accidents, all these different things. They’re all there that can happen, but it can be the light things of just sitting in a desk all day,
everybody looking at their phones.
It’s just those everyday unavoidable stresses that get it to always shift,
but they’re eventually putting pressure on those nerves. Now our big thing is we want to see where the chiropractors, we want to take that pressure off those nerves because our focus is we want to see a 100% of that nerve flow going to all your organs, glands, tissues, and cells, because you want a 100% flow from that brain through the spinal cord to say your heart.
We want a 100% to your stomach. We want a 100% of that pain or that function to your muscles and your legs, a 100% to your pain sensors, whatever it might be. We want a 100%. running at all times, because if we’re putting pressure on there where we don’t want 70% because you can imagine how your stomach
and your organs and all these things are functioning.
That’s the importance of chiropractic. We’re going to start to adjust these very way to take that pressure off to get you functioning at your best. And that’s what we’re doing when you’re starting care in our office, we’re going to keep adjusting you to keep that pressure off the nerves. And that’s where you’re going to notice you’re going to sit there.
You’re going to age more gracefully. I like to say over time because we’re keeping that line,
allowing your body to function at its optimal health.
